If you go under Kew Bridge - turn back!

 

You will skid downstream sideways gently - that's normal and quite pleasant.

 

It's a doddle really.

 

One thing to note - the Brent can be a bugger once you exit the lock IF there has been heavy rain any season. It "flashes" up and down quickly as it basically a run off drain for NW London road surface water. The Brents water quality is terrible.
