I have never doubted that, it doesn't change my assertion ;

I'd suggest that the vast majority of liveboards are happily living on a 7' wide x 60'-72' narrowboat

I never questioned that assertion. Although having said that, happiness is all relative. Judging by the reactions of some of my narrowboat neighbours over the years I'm not sure if they were really that happy with their own boats. One woman who wanted to see inside actually became openly hostile towards me afterwards, but that's going back about 15 years. She lived on a 70ft woolwich that someone had converted with an A frame superstucture, tarped over to look like a working boat. It meant that you only really had the centreline of the boat to stand up in.

Fred Olsen's cruise ship Braemar is set to repeat its record-breaking journey through the Corinth Canal, the latter which is just 24m wide at its narrowest point.

 Nearly 20 years ago, when I was teaching on a Maritime Studies MSc at a college in Piraeus, I taught maritime law to the chief pilot of the Corith Canal!

Sry, but its changed its name since then!

I'm sure there are some good tales from Jason and the Argonuats to run on this one.....
