Just spotted this if you can view Facebook. Total project but seems not impossible? I'm not sure on the fiberglass roof.  And of course a few other things!

1. It's a money pit, I very much doubt a new layer of fibreglass on the roof will do the job. The whole engine wiring may be burned out as may the starter and alternator internals.  If you want to take a risk offer them £1000 to take it away and expect to spend more, far more.

 

2. looks the best bet so far, but it is a Springer so you need to be absolutely sure the hull is not pitted by more and a mm or so otherwise you may find its uninsurable judging by the minimum hull thickness certain insurers demand as quoted on here.

It's also in  Sandwich, so how much would it cost to get transported back to the canal system?

In that case be very careful, if it's been in salt or brackish water the hull may be in a very poor state.

 

If you are lucky a truck with a Hiab may be able to lift and transport it so no cost of cranes etc. It may even be towable behind a hefty 4 x 4.
