blackrose Posted January 20, 2021 Report Share Posted January 20, 2021 As someone else said earlier, if you're using a stud or a bolt to fill the hole and can't grind it flush then it's better to use a dome headed bolt with a nut underneath rather than standard bolt head or nut on top. DHutch Posted January 20, 2021 Report Share Posted January 20, 2021 Where do you stand when steering, on the deck, or in the top step within the slide? Personally I think I would cut them off and weld up the holes and paint over, but as a short term tapping and winding a bolt in and covering with non-slip grit patch isn't a bad call.
