Fuel Injector Pipe size

Featured Posts

Modern fuel (injector) pipe is 6mm, with a 2mm bore.     Injection kit has always been metric, because it is originally a Bosch design.  The pipe nuts are 19mm for example.   There may be some 1/4 pipe about but what someone else has is no guarantee that yours  is the same unfortunately.

The  difference between 6mm and 1/4 inch is 0.35mm or approximately 0.014 in.  Given manufacturing tolerances are needed , and the need some way to get a transducer over the flared pipe ends I would not be surprised if both the 6mm and the 1/4 item are the same.
