Water tank

Hello there. I have a 2003 57 foot Bidston Marine narrowboat and would like to know how big the water tank is. Anybody out there have something similar who could help? Thanks.

Did they build two boats the same?

if you want to know the actual capacity of your tank, then buy a cheap water meter from eBay, run the tank down to empty, then fill via the water meter, that way you know exactly how much it holds.

 

if you don’t mind waiting for it to come from China, it’s under a tenner.

Find a decent water tap, get your tank empty, time how long it takes to fill a bucket of known volume, time how long it takes to fill your water tank. work it out. This is probably what the boat builder did.

 

You don't need a stop-watch, your phone does it.
