Speeding Boater

Boat just went speeding past. By the time I had taken the photo it had disappeared under the bridge, but look at the size of the waves he left. Poor swan almosr got washwd onto the towpath!

It was a private boat who moors locally ?

Still revenge will be sweet when I charge past him.

Must have been very big wash to have swept right over the sides and so far up the garden and onto the Patio, saves watering the grass tho !

Every cloud has a silver lining.

Looks like Exon Pride is extending it's range

Don't play this boaters silly game.

cruise past really slowly, put on a CD of Handel's Water Music at full blast with your windows open.

If you hav'nt got the Water music then Wagner's Flying Dutchman overture will be just as good.

If you don't have these, then any music will do.

It's the volume that's important!

If you know someone who playes the bagpipes, invite them in for a coffee.

I would report the boat, given you know it.

In the 6 and a half years I have lived here, I've never known that boat go through a lock. ?

Apart from the stupidity of the excessive speed, I don't think visibility through that bridgehole [65?] is very good.

Not as bad as the previous bridge, but not brilliant.

I've improved my revenge plan. He moors near a winding hole, so if I added a bowsprit to my boat, well anything could happen whilst I was winding... ?

It was raining. Didnt you know you can go as fast as you like in the rain?

Very true (but only for some boaters it seems).

It took me too long to get the phone and take the picture to capture the waves at their peak. I've seen smaller waves in a force 10 than those as he was passing! ?

I haven’t been that way for a couple of years but I remember all your gnomes and ornaments used to make me smile.
