Narrow boat by R Tinker, anyone know him?

There's a Ron Tinker built boat on our moorings, 1980 built, sound as a pound. Bow and stern rather bluff and unusual to maximize internal space. I've seen a few others by him over the years, he would build to your preferences rather than some standard design.  I think his son still runs the business.

From the Inland Boat Owners Book, late 90s I'd guess. A fully fitted 45' was 36k, the next entry was SM Hudson at 38k!

Nooo! it's 0161-643 3652! The 01827 311317 number is in Tamworth & belongs Norton Canes + old SM Hudson yard

I wouldn't have thought either number was still in use.

Yes, that appears to be Norton Canes' current number, and Tinker's too.

The prices seem about right. I had a 42ft Rudyard new from Stoke on Trent in 1997 for £32,000.
