Ah, that's the one that was already almost broken(has been draining the pound above for the last 12 months at least) and could have been fixed at the same time as lock 11.....

Never mind, no doubt a good press release is being prepared about fish rescues and happy towpath walkers.

Would have been the obvious thing to do whilst the flight was closed back then.

 

I am surprised it’s lasted this long to be honest. This is how it looked when we came down a month or so ago.
