It will be water saving or vandalism.

Its become a habit.

I don’t understand the water saving reason.
Shirley,

It’s gotta to be better to fill a lock quickly rather than slowly, while water is leaking out the bottom gates. ?¿?

It’s really just neglect.

We noticed Wharton's was a bit slow when we went through it the other day - one paddle didn't seem to be doing a lot, but Beeston Stone was fine.

I notified CRT on Tuesday.  They came yesterday and wound their yellow tape round the paddle.

A label on the paddle at Tilstone is dated 14th August, saying it will be fixed in two weeks.  Latest stoppage notice says it will be fixed next week.
