Caldon shut at Ivyhouse lift bridge, the electric one, as a van seems to have driven into the barrier and the control box.

Talk about the end of what CRT think of as the boating season - that's the Macc and the Caldon both knackered. Who's next?

Very low water. Peak Forest must have been a foot down last week, the reservoir is empty and the river where they pump water very low too. So is Sutton resevoir. My boats 40 foot and doesn't draw much and we hit bottom a few times coming down couple of days ago. It's ok below Bosley.
