Did it easily, slowly and no use of the thruster required. This canal is hard work though. Very overgrown and almost impossible to judge the hard edges. Now I know why we haven't been back since 2011. It comes to a very disappointing end too, unless your boat is capable of the Froghall Tunnel. We were planning to go to Froghall but somehow never made it past the Black Lion, stuck there for ages unable to summon up the willpower to leave.
