Stopped raining here in Worksop and the sun is trying to come out. 24 degrees in the kitchen with the windows open so no the heating is not going on yet!

Glad we got the exhaust for the Webasto on the boat changed at the weekend though I think that will be getting some good use over the bank holiday weekend

20 degrees it might be Bob, but it's blowing by so fast you can't tell!

The wind hasn't started here yet.

I put mine on this morning and was glad I did for the first couple of hours.  Now I'm too hot!!! :D

Bit hot in here too now if I'm honest, but the widows make a good regulator too.... :)

'Kin windy though!  Two hire boats just passed after finishing Tardebigge (on one of those demanding ring routes I imagine) - the steerers' faces said it all! :o

What, pray, do widows regulate?

It reminds me of Gerard Hoffnung and his French widows affording delightful prospects!

Yesterday I reckon about 50 boats had passed me by this hour.  Today - just 3!

Blimey, who knew widows were so versatile?

Portholes allow finer tuning, but you need a lot if you want to go for anything above a Force 4. We've compromised by having a mix of the two. Alternatively, drink Americano or just learn to live with a frothy moustache.

Must be seen 20 boats going past me today. Yesterday was about 50.

This summer has been the busiest since we moved here 6.5 years ago.

And some sneak by whilst you aren't looking as we did on Sunday morning.

Sorry we missed you. We were at my youngest sons last weekend. We got home mid-morning, then it was all hands on deck, clearing up the leaves from the garden.
