Convenient mooring spot

Good access for the water point, spitting distance from the car park and a stones throw from the winding hole. I can see why they’ve ‘dropped’ their boat here, wonder why I never thought mooring there before...

There was some real numpty mooring in Braunston on Saturday. Both boaters are long term , not new.

1st boat called Speldhurst was moored between the end of the visitor moorings and the A45 road bridge below the church, causing real problems for people coming through the blind bridge hole.

The other boat was the new owner of Zulu, who again had moored beyond the end of the visitor moorings opposite the Mill House, and the next A45 bridge. He hadnt even managed to tie the back end, only front and centre line held him in place. Again, causing problems as the rear end was blocking the bridge exit.
