River Wey Closed

The River Wey is currently closed between Pyrford and Newark Lock. There are numerous large trees down across the river. Estimate several days to clear.

We've been lucky, we just come off the Wey on Tuesday.

I have been at Pyrford marina dock this week. Yesterday the storm was ferocious and trying to get home by car, all three ways out of the area were blocked by either fallen trees (2) or high flooding.

Update. Work boat just passed. They hope to have it cleared by later today. Good news!

Bad news. More trees down so  it looks like the middle of next week!
