The latest edition of WATERWAYS (August 2020)  published by the IWA has an article on the West Midlands Freight Interchange. The IWA have submitted a formal complaint against this development as it surrounds the Heritage waterway, the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal.

 

It is a development which would provide much needed jobs in the area, but the IWA sees it as a threat to green belt land and the heritage value of the Round house there.
