Solar water heater, how to bleed???

Featured Posts

help needed please regarding solar water heater. Temperature suddenly not going up more than 37degrees and water pump staying on much longer now. Plus hot pipe seems to have vibration. Outside the boat roof on the side of the solar tubes is a copper reservoir that was empty but occasionally I see it bubble water from. Could there be air in the system and if so how do I bleed it? Or could this be another problem maybe?

Thanks

Perhaps you may need to provide a link to the manufacturere's site so we can work out exactly what you have or else describe it in much more detail. For instance vacuum tube or copper collector. Where abouts does this copper reservoir connect to the tubes and what is the relative height. Is the reservoir open so you can top it up?

It sounds to em as if the system may not have enough liquid in it but we will know more when you answer or one of our solar experts drops by.
