'Bargain' boat for those on a very limited budget

Just seen this boat on U-tube, shirley would suit one of those on a very limited budget and who is prepared to ignore advice from those who have seen it and done it.

Hull said to be OK - no wet bilge - even in the engine bay.

The challenge is that it's a wooden top.

Suit a London moorer.....

The mystery is, how does a knackered Harborough Marine come to be on the very select and sought-after private moorings at Thrupp? It would be worth buying the boat to get the mooring, if it works like that.

Unfortunate that the presenter wore a short with a business name, the only part of which was visible: "scrap"

Noticed that, shirt collar. So he has paid damn all for it, now wants to profit, fair enough. What are scrap steel prices atm?

Not exactly: he says it's being sold on behalf of the executor of a will. So I shouldn't think that it's his property.

It's a club mooring. Plenty of dog poo by walkers and not transferable anyway.

Seems quite an interesting "mothballed" boat. Disposing of the corpse might be a bit complicated but Margaret Harborough, good steelwork Lister ST2 and one of those nice old enamelled basins looks pretty interesting.

£50.
