Trent and Mersey Canal (Main Line - Derwent Mouth to Burton) – Navigation closure notice: Trent & Mersey Canal, Navigation: Closed, Towpath: Open – Lock 1, Derwent Mouth Lock — from Tuesday the 28th of July, 2020 to Wednesday the 5th of August, 2020.

Due to urgent maintenance works required at Derwent Mouth Lock, we have unfortunately had to close this lock until further notice. These works are essential for the safety of the lock and our customers who use it. We hope to have these works completed by next Wednesday.  An initial assessment is being carried out, and we will then be able to update the website with any further information.

Hope no body needs to get back to Aqua Narrowboats at Barton turns by Friday, Saturday or Monday.
