To answer your question, but first ..... Welcome to the forum.

 

No, CRT are unlikely to tell you.  They're not really geared up for it.

The key is the registration number, it searches for different names assigned to the same number.

 

Sadly it doesn't always work.  It can be confuddled by various changes in a boat's history such as leaving CRT waters, spending time ashore or not being licenced for a while, especially if the change of name coincides.

Hiya - thank you - I have been on boat listings but only the current name comes up - Cat n Mole - since 2008 - the boat is a 1989 Cole Craft and i think it has had at least two previous names - I thought about asking Calcutt, who fitted the boat out...
