Banbury mooring

Are the town centre moorings in Banbury restricted due to the extension of the shopping centre?

Partially. But you can still moor adjacent to the General Foods club. Can be noisy. We spent lock down in Banbury. Mainly moored next to Spice Ball Park. Which can also be a bit noisy due to the skate park and the Fine Lady bakery. But we survived. If you have been before, you WILL seen a difference. The skeleton of a seven story Premiere Inn has been constructed on the Castle Quay Side.

Banbury has a history of hating the canal.....seems that's continuing!!! Its a shame when they have had so many redevelopment opportunities to make the most of it!

I moor down past the foundry, round the bend under the bridge where the offices have been turned into flats. Handy for Morrisons. Its quiet, never had any rowdies there.
