Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, I would say the opposite, Solar panel, TV receiver, tyres, extra large glazed front cratch cover, certainly not a looker?

We passed this boat very many times on our travels and it is indeed a nice little boat.

All Springers are good looking boats, with or without dangley tyres and pram hoods

Would look better without pram and cratch covers and solar panal, just as it should, but can see why the owners have put on for the extra under cover space.

I was trying to work out what this means too.

 

I did wonder if the step down stern section was somehow an addition but I think that was a feature of all Springers of that age/length.

I was wondering what the white(plastic?) rectangle thing is just before the drop down stern, protected by what looks like a steel band, obviously some form of air intake or outlet??

Almost certainly a combined intake/flue for a gas water heater. It looks like the ones that used to be on a Carver Cascade as fitted to motorhomes and caravans back in the 80/90's but they were square not rectangular. it could be one of the newer Truma Ultrastore ones. They are rectangular.

Probably the reason for so many tyres as it looks like it would easily be damaged when coming into a landing.

It was. I gave 3500 for it about 6 years ago it was 22 ft. A nice trailer boat

There was as much work on the transom and rear deck , and swim to get rid of the outboard ,and fit a Enfield leg and d905 Kubota
