Aqueduct identification

I have been wondering where this location is. The canal makes a bend to cross over the from one side of the valley to the other.

It's on the Huddersfield Narrow.  Forgotten its name - Gauxholme Aqueduct?  Above the locks at Milnsbridge.

 

No, not Gauxholme, that's on the Rochdale.    Golcar is the one.

Memorable to me because I spotted  the main body of an Epping stove in shallow water just before the aqueduct!

Recovered it  and rebuilt it, now in use in a boat. Amazing what some people throw away and what others find in the cut?.

The HNCS used to have a "Toepath" sponsored walk before the canal was restored and it was on one of those I first saw Golcar Aqueduct - living in Marple as a teenager going to towns like Slaithwaite felt like visiting another country - not just because they are different, but because no-one else from my school ever went there!
