Waternav app.

Morning all,

being a complete apple nut, all my devices are of that persuasion, and I find I cannot download the RCR Waternav app (apple store just doesn’t have it). Are there any good gps alternatives to this app that do work on apple devices? I have Canalplan, but it will not allow me to save a planned route, or maybe it’s me that’s technically inept! Any suggestions please?

Do you have to register with Canalplan to save an route? Or maybe try exporting to file and save that on the cloud?

We use Waterway Routes which run on the Memory Map format. We found them very accurate and up to date. I use it on Android as well as on a Windows laptop, presumabmly Memoryy Map also runs on an apple.

It does, I run it on a laptop PC and an Ipad. I down load updates to my PC at home and then transfer them to the Ipad which I use while cruising.

There's a thread somewhere where someone was having a problem with iphones and the maps. Now the original developer has gone RCR didn't seem very interested, if I remember.

I have on my iPhone works 100%
