I have a boat where the previous owner's attitude to lighting was cleary "let's not fix it let's add more." I have:

9 halogen spot lights
3 halogen directional lights
1 large halogen kitchen light
2 double halogen strip lights
3 LED strip lights
3 directional battery LEDs with an attempted (failed) hack to run it off the 12v.
1 tunnel light running off the domestics
1 tunnel light running off the bow thruster battery, because... reasons.

Anyone inherrited more/worse?

Next stop replacement fittings and bedazzled LEDs.

Let's say any source of light and see how petty it gets, lol.  There's probably some guy on a boat who has a business making candles.

I wasn't going to play on this thread, but my festival decoration lights on the boat are mainly strings of 100 or 200 LEDs :D

Looking at this lot I think I may open for trips around the illuminations.

Puts Blackpool to shame.

Blackpool Tourist Offices current slogan is Dont Visit Blackpool.....and the Pleasure Beach has had thousands of complaints from residents after announcing its re-opening plans.

Is that anything to do with the current 'situation' ?

Maybe it should be renamed before the tower is 'pulled down'.

Dunno why two tunnel lights, but sensible to run one off the bow battery.

Also good to run the horn from there. Neither item will be used except when engine running, so relays in the bow, switched from the stern, with the switches fed from engine supply. Cuts down on voltage drop, and the switches are only handling relay coil current.

What about mains sockets then eh!! Since I bought this boat I have taken 8 out and that has left us with 26 sockets throughout the boat down from the original 34 as fitted when new.
