Born 11th February 1910 at 7 South View, Eaton Road, Chester.

His third book in the trilogy is different, ' Landscape With Figures' which delves into his narrow gauge railway involvements and Sports car activities. A good read also. 'Landscape with Canals' is my favourite. Far less romantic than 'Narrow Boat'.
