Turning at Lady Lane Wharf, North Sratford Canal

Has anyone tried turning at Lady Lane Wharf, using the entrance to the feeder canal? My boat is 43ft. There are boats moored one one side and I wouldn't like to get too close

Yes, I have winded - 47ft no real problem.

However, last time I was going past they had boats obstructing the entrance probably due to building work going on at the time. Still thought I could get round though. I found it very shallow on the towpath side between the feeder and the bridge.

Done it with a 57 foot boat as I was moored there. Can be a bit silted up at times.

If you find there are boatsin the way and you can’t turn there , it is not too far in either direction to a winding hole
