I'm not putting this up as high art. It sits in a family garage on the wall. It originated from rural Austria.

 

One can perhaps see the connection to roses and castles. A Russian lady (could not speak english) walked past our boat a little while ago and started crying. He partner told me she saw the roses and castles on our boat and it reminded her of home.

And here's some Hungarian artwork we saw on our travels, a chest of drawers, that very much reminded us of canal art.

I agree. The roses have a similarity to Bauernmalerei (which translates as peasant/farmer-painting) from Germany/Austria.

Don't know about "ill informed" to me it is dire. Deserving of a place in Mr Moore's black museum.
