Nope. Standalone with a water catching thingy at the top which you have to empty, a lint filter which you have to clean and... that’s it.

It’s great. It appears to be just as efficient as our ‘old fashioned’ one was. Faster if anything.

I've got one similar but mine also has a removable heat exchanger at the botton which needs periodic cleaning.

I never clean my tv antenna.

I washed my boat once.  Afterwards, I couldn't do a THING with it.....

I washed three pairs of knickers and a bra by hand, bra is now grey, but still works.

Other places have launderettes, if in complete isolation, I could go "au natural", but I think that might be unwise, things are not where they used to be, I don't know why.

Oh yes... I think I’ve cleaned that once. I found a sock in it. I have no idea how it got there.
