Our neighbour at the moorings in Auxerre lives mainly on freshwater mussels, the shells of which get left on the deflector plates of Luciole's rudder. He does, however, also like the occasional croissant

Tankard Bridge, Selby Canal - 2 days before it closed due to a vehicle strike, although we were back there from 1pm and didn't see or hear anything and the parapets looked no different to our previous visits. I understand that North Yorkshire Council have finally granted permission for the road closure required to make the repair and the temporary scaffolding to protect boats from falling debris can then be removed.

City Mill Lock  Bow Back Rivers. This was the first of the three locks to restore navigation to the Waterworks river, now part of the Olympic waterways.

spacer.pngand as final testing of the new mechanism was under way by BW's contractors, here's the first member of the public to press the buttons. The lock was  closed to most navigation until after the Olympics

Are you certain of the date of this post and the previous one? It seems a little odd that you should be at both Alrewas and Downham Market on the same day. I suspect a typo.
