The Glass Wall now has a padlock to prevent the opening of the wall for the traditional access for lockwheelers to the lockside. Sadly C&RT do not understand the concept of the lockwheeler walking ahead of the boat to set the next lock ...

Who was the brave/foolhardy soul who walked across the middle of the marina?

No idea but it certainly wasn't us. We stayed off the ice.

Well I say that. I had an on (rather than an in) I slipped on some ice on the pontoon and went under the bathing platform of our friends boat. Luckily the ice was thick enough to hold!
