We were moored in the marina then. I hope you didn't bump into us  .,..

In 1976 I remember having to use the marina entrance at Fenny Compton to wind our 60' hired  boats because the official winding hole was occupied by two BW work boats, securely chained in place. The marina entrance had a "No Winding" notice then, but it was our mid-week turning point,  there was no other option, and we only needed to put the bows into the entrance.
