Today 2022.

Lizard Point. The most Southerly point in mainland UK.

Not the best weather for this today 🤣🤣🤣

We have now visited the most Northerly, Easterly and Southerly points in Mainland UK with the van (as well as Lands End and John O Groats). Need to head back to Scotland and pick up the most Westerly at some point soon.

RNIB Duke of Edinburgh Shannon class lifeboat destined for Wells Next The Sea, my Dad loved the life boats so I sponsored this one via the launch a memory campaign and his name is now recorded on it.

He would have been really chuffed that it's the Duke of Edinburgh

It had pride of place at the front of the Reflections Flotilla last Saturday.

There's a photo here https://oleanna.co.uk/2022/09/28/thames-barrier-closed/  , I missed it in my blog https://scholargypsy.org.uk/2022/09/27/reflections-flotilla-post-1-of-3/

On this day today 2022 Rotherham flood barrier and lock. Good to see the area developing, hopefully they will have some decent 48/72hr visitor moorings, as going to Sheffield is becoming more difficult, unkept lock landings, no lock maintenance, regular breakages/stoppages.

Decent visitor moorings here and jump on the train/tram 15 minutes ish into Sheffield city centre, no brainer👍
