In this time of incalculable gloom, our boats, landscapes, boating activities and wildlife are still stunningly beautiful ...Please just post that lovely dawn photo today and more. Spring in Britain is beautifully photogenic, and as this goes on, so is summer, and then autumn, and winter. Share the views please.   Don and Val

This thread has now been running for a full year, and what a year. Covid has made it an extraordinarily challenging year, and for many an incredibly sad year. Certainly heavily curtailed actual boating and normality. ...[this thread] certainly provides an anchor, something to look forward to each morning,...

... and as the AccursedVirus is having, at least for the moment, a declining effect on our everyday existence, we now have even more incalculable gloom as European civilians are bombed out of their homes and so many refugees need our individual and collective help. ...

Yes.

We have all faced challenges of continual new releases of more effective versions of Covid, but now for some, actually, far too many, are actually facing  the challenges of more effective versions of our "defensive" armoury,  and it's devastating consequences on ordinary people.

People who would much rather just go recreational boating, or recreational anything else, then actually confronting their own, and their family members actual survival.

Please though,  keep up these pictures of seasons, in familiar and comforting landscapes continuing to change.

Some stability and beauty  in our lives is increasingly precious.

But please, we must all look after refugees, wherever in the world they are displaced from, be it from war, climate change, or societal conflict.
