Paddlers and maintenance barges: Padwick Bridge Chichester, and Chichester Cathedral.

 

Poyntz Swing Bridge was named after WSPoyntz of Cowdray who was a shareholder in the canal company. The bridge and was originally about a mile to the south at Hunston, at a place still called PoyntzBridge where this section of the canal to Chichester joined the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal.
