by Torvean Park Inverness Rowing Club Caledonian Canal  and constructing a new swing bridge to link the A82 with the Inverness West Link road. The 1930s Tomnahurich Swing Bridge is retained, so that only one swing bridge will close to road traffic at a time

Regents Canal 

 

Third picturre is the former lock keeper's cottage, now the Regent's Canal Information Centre and a coffee shop. It dates from around 1820 when the canal was completed, but was much extended, including the crenellations, around 1975
