Rawn Hill Bridge No 37 Coventry Canal.  Having moored for the Saturday/Sunday night at Tuttle Hill Bridge just beyond Nuneaton, had started the engine and was about to release the mooring lines when a boat nosed around the corner, and since it's impolite to pull out in front (even though we wouldn't hold them up) we waited until they had passed by. ... By which time there was another following boat closer to us than the first had been when we decided to wait. We let that past too. .... By which time there was another following boat closer to us than the second had been when we decided to wait. So we waited again. By which time there was another following boat ... You get the drift... The log said "It was a flotilla of five of Rugby Wharf's  Wiilow Wren 50'-60' boats carrying forty-three German students with three teachers, organised by a chap from Rugby who was on his eighth consecutive annual trip with similar parties." Our boat's co-owners had encountered them similarly at Harshill exactly a year before. "They were not too bad at [Atherstone] locks but fortunately they were heading for Birmingham at Fazeley Junction" ... Anyway there was time to nip up Rawn Hill for the pictures, and we almost caught up the last of them between the bottom of Glascote and ...
