Sadly this  field is being redeveloped into industrial units plus probably more too. If I could find how to resize my 7MB picture to 2.8 I would post but till I find out it shall remain in my phone. 

Incidentally the Diggle flight ground paddles suck to wards the top gates rather than push a 56ft narrowboat to the tail gates when going up, must be the effect of the  two paddle culverts coming  in from one side

CaRT have been doing there own version of What is nice on the waterways now with their own resident picture snapper.

Dalmuir  Drop Lock F&C. The original  swing bridge here caused delays to traffic, was replaced by a wider fixed bridge, and the restoration project used this mechanism to retain the levels of both canal and road while allowing boats to pass underneath.
