IWA National Festival Burton-on-Trent T&M. The Lavender Boat once more. Sitting on the stairway to heaven which the festival carpenters created in a couple of hours when the tank and the boat were put together and there was no pouring position available.

IWA NAtional Festival Worcester racecourse River Severn. Collecting horses. The theme of the previous evening's illuminated boat parade was racing, and the dry-rubbish collection therefore acculumated lots of outlines of the single-use creatures

The French collect horses with a bit more style, as at last September's Festival de Loire where they showed how boat horses were carried from bank to bank as necessary.

... and just now, painting the Wolverhampton Boat Club footbridge SU. Overcast but not necessarily rainy so some hope of drying ok.

Near Leicster North Lock. There are very few of these remaining. BW was spooked by the EU directive that gave a derogation on metric measures only to UK road signs. So no longer a 4mph limit. ... Common sense later prevailed ... So long ago that the red ring has faded.
