Froghall Tunnel Caldon C

That'll fit - you're trimmed level. :)

Just go and drop a couple of lockfulls into the basin and lower the pound an inch ...

It looks as if the owner has made it into a proper home in the intervening four years. I am surprised, though, that CART allow him to fence off part of the towpath.

On this day 2004 leaving Paris by the small channel which passes inside the island Notre Dame is on. Only small boats use this.

The Ile de la Cité.

Quite big for a small channel, by British standards anyway!

I missed these by date but these are end of May 1974 on Stratford canal going down to the re opening of. The upper Avon on June 1st. It was one big struggle to get to Stratford and we had a bit of sponsorship from the solid fuel federation, but they didn’t say that the sealed knot had arranged to be aLong side us in the park and fire straw all over the boat every few minutes. Great event and I had to get smartened up to be at the lock for the official opening. Jaguar came up from Sharpness with a load of corn for Lucy’s.

... waterpoint.

Fixed that for you, but I'm fairly sure CRT haven't allowed him to!

I can't see a tap in the photo - I think that the post at far left is just a post.

It's not an area in which we cruise, so I'll bow to your local knowledge,

Classic car nostalgia at Fradley T&M

I had one of these in White with the lower half red. It was 3 speed column change and going uphill in the rain meant the wipers almost stopped as they worked by a vacuum somehow connected to the carburetor. (I believe)

The late Bill Purves from Edinburgh standing on the right with his pleated skirt on - he didn't wear anything under it which caused problems when he took people on the Kelvin and he was sitting steering ?
