Possibly the loudest boat on the canals; I think he fitted the engine with a desilencer. That must be good for trade, as potential customers can hear that Lister (?) approaching from half a mike away.

Still life with hedgehog, in the days when Trojan was moored at the end of our garden.

Fearing that the hedgehog might go for an involuntary dip, we then took it right down to the bottom of the back garden. It can't have been impressed, as we have never seen it since.

I am enjoying the photos, Britain is so photogenic especially when you add a bit of water, and boats.

Your photos, they don't need to be exhibition quality, just what is happening now with the changes of light and seasons, clumps of wild flowers, and ducks swimming past etc.

I am sure we are not the only ones currently without such views that appreciate them. So keep sharing please, just a bit of sanity in these stressful times.

My chance to post photos of more classic yacht racing, next Saturday was to be the Round Rangitoto Race around that volcanoes that dominates Auckland Harbour views.

Cancelled as we cannot keep the requested isolation distance between crew members and handle our big sails. Bugger but if that is the biggest of our problems we have a lot to be greatful for. The fashion for panic buying has come here too, but considering this crisis will be with us for months once home  storage is full then purchases must subside to consumption rate. At some time even decline as stockpiles are consumed.

Take care.

I wake up each morning to unmitigated gloom from the newsrooms so your photos here are a most welcome diversion, an alternative reality, the countryside is beautiful, and the boats likewise. Lovely to see the sailboats too, but I am biased! Please keep posting.
