thats a cute boat....  how old is she (the boat)

The shell is 2005, built in Holland by Euroships, 10m x 3.4, partly to our design and fitted out by us in Stourport using huge heaps of recycled timber and equipment. Went in the water in 2008 and travelled the Severn, Bristol Avon, Warks Avon, K&A, Thames, GU up to nearly Braunston, River Wey and then on a lorry to France in 2011.  Since then has been all over the place in France, Belgium and Holland. Currently in Belgium where we cannot get to her because of the wretched corona virus. I might write a bit of a book about the whole thing to keep sane over the next few weeks (months?)

Nice.

I thought it was one of those awful Billy Bass singing fish on the first picture...

I suppose a bass and a perch might seem vaguely similar to a phish Philistine....

Recognise the shop but can't place it. There's a lock just behind whoever took the photo. (I THINK)₩

What is going on at the bridge behind Richard?

It was a university project on bat movements and tagging.

They thought they had the bridge to themselves for the evening, however, no-one had told them about the BCN 24 hour challenge......

Either that or they were looking to design a widebeam for student accommodation and needed maximum size dimensions.?

I had forgotten about that, bet the poor buggers thought they had the ideal spot for a quiet survey
