Waterproof bench cushions

Featured Posts

We have a problem whose cause is that my wife doesn't overeat and is thus not sufficiently padded in her undercarriage region. Sitting on a hard-topped bench rapidly becomes uncomfortable for her. And when she's uncomfortable, so am I shortly afterwards. Always.

I've come to the conclusion that (1) Cushions might be cheaper then feeding her up with pies and (2) She might - rightly - beat me around the head if I suggest that her body shape is deficient in any way, shape or form.

So, in the interests of retaining what semblance of good looks I still have, we're looking for some waterproof cushions for the bench seats on our semi-trad. I strongly suspect they'll need to be made-to-measure. We want something properly waterproof.

Any manufacturers out there that anyone can recommend?

Thanks.

I have a friend who used these guys when he needed to replace his.

He was happy with them, but I can't recall the cost which will vary anyway depending on size and material.

What sort of damage? Happy to pay for quality.

I think it was just over £200 for two cushions, each about 100 × 30 cms.

They are shaped to fit our locker tops, we provided a template. We went to their showroom and chose the fabric to match our paintwork.
