New glow plugs required

Measure the resistance of each plug.

It should be between 0.1 aand 6ohms and they should all be much the same.

If one or two are much higher then they are duff.

Best to compate results against a known good plug.

Checked the glow plugs and they need replacing ?. Anyone know where there's a Mitsubishi outlet that deals in generators, or would a car sales, parts department be able to supply?( Genny engine is a Mitsubishi L2E)

My raw-water pump is over £450 - take it you've not had many mechanical problems this century ?

No problems I always buy Japanese lol. Like u say though that's worth paying to know they are all OK. Boating ain't cheap.

The kubota and Honda are your safest bets in that lot ?

My genny has a L3E and I got a set of 3 from Diamond Diesels in Leeds for under £100 around 10 years ago.  Same ones from Mastervolt were quoted at  £75 each

Very strange. I took the glow plugs out of the Mastervolt (Mitsubishi engined) generator, only to discover that they are not Mitsubishi glowplugs?. They’re Champion brand and are the original plugs cos they have the same paint on them as the engine. I was always led to believe that Mitsubishi manufacture EVERY single part of their engines (down to the last bolt!), so I’m puzzled.
