THETFORD COOKER FLAME

Featured Posts

Hi

Grateful for opinion/advice.  Just lit Thetford cooker after long winter break and flame has an odd burn pattern with a couple of bright yellow flames.  Does anyone know cause/cure and indedd if it's safe to use.

Thanks

That looks OK in the short term.  There are no yellow flames (which would indicate a shortage of air in and too much CO out and would not be a Good Thing)  The coloured flames are orangey which is probably rust in the burner after a winter unused. As said give it a good clean with a wire brush, air duster and vacuum cleaner.
