Hi Folks, First of all, thanks to the 496 fellow volunteers of C&RT that took part in the voting process to elect your representatives on Council.

David Williams who volunteers on the K&A and I, who volunteers in the Northwest, have been duly elected.

To those other that stood, thank you for taking the time and effort to put your selves forward.

 

So the elected representatives on Council are now

for Angling/Fisheries - David Kent

for the Friends - Stella Ridgway (who was an elected boaters rep last time)

for the staff - John Elliis has been re-elected

for private boating -

Tim Allen

Helen Hutt

Dave Mendes da Costa were elected

and Phil Prettyman who is re-elected,

for Business boating -

Heather Duncan

Carl Onens were elected,

and for Volunteers -

David Williams and

Ian McCarthy who was re-elected.

Phil Prettyman and Myself are also on the Appointments committee of Council, along with Andrew Phasey who is now the AWCC appointee, (was a boaters rep.) and two Trustees. As both Phil and I have been re-elected we will continue in this task.

The next meeting of council takes place in Leeds in 5 weeks time on the 26th of March. The other meeting of council this year will be after the APM in September.

A great shame I feel about Andy Tidy, who had a good established track record, but at least Phil Prettyman was returned.
