Buy a four pack Bramley Apple and Cinamon Hot Cross Buns, add butter and pour two glasses of Gallo Merlot.

You need a paper towel as it is like a hands on sticky pudding, but better.

I won't manage more than two!

I dont do Gallo anymore as I always woke up thinking I had left a sanding pad on my tongue from yesterdays painting.

If the Californians learn to make wine without all their additives, I will gladly imbibe to support their fragile economy.?

Sounds good, but I'd go for a Chilean or Argentinian Merlot. The Californian version is a bit bland to my palate.  But hey, what do I know, I'm a beer drnker!

Apart from proper French Bordeaux wine, the best Merlot I have tasted is Australian Yellow Tail.

on my cycle tour de france, Camping a la ferme", I would buy a bottle of local red from any shop eg Boulangier., and they were made to drink on the day ... no additives. Off the tourist trais, I ate lunch in the same place as the locals, a set menu, three courses for about £6.00 Real french cuisine in a forest inn, I recall, handshakes all round,
