With reference to the pub, The Ship, bad news I'm afraid. I have just heard that it closes its doors for the last time this coming Sunday. Apparently the negotiations around the sale of the lease have collapsed and the interested party has withdrawn. End of an era and with the lease having been on the market for a long time the future looks bleak. Sad ?

It is huge, would take a lot of work and there is asbestos in the roof. The general state of repair is awful, main building and out buildings. It is a lovely location but surrounded by crap. It is too close to the A10 bridge as well so can be very noisy.
