Has anyone stayed at/live at Poplar Dock Marina?

Nope. Though we did spend a week at Gallions point marina once. It was right on the flight path for London city airport.

I had a mate who lived on a boat in South Dock for several years. 

 

He was very happy there and only moved when he remarried and his old boat was in danger of sinking under the weight of all the things his new wife brought on board.

 

Had to move onto a bigger boat moored on the Thames at Taggs Island.
