Ray T
Oh! that is very sad news. I used to have some wonderful "chats" with him on the PM system. Thank you for letting me know.
dave moore
Another stalwart no longer with us. I’m sorry to hear of his passing, we had several exchanges lamenting the change in values abroad on the cut. Thanks Archie.
archie57
The article in the latest HNBC newsletter prompted me to contact his nephew just before Christmas who gave me the news. I miss his interesting contributions to the Forum, I wish I'd made contact with him....

I am really sad to hear that, I had also wondered why he was no longer posting. I first met him at the Leicester IWA rally in 1967, he was a friend of our Captain Dennis who, sadly, has also passed away. We only recently renewed our aquaintance through the forum , when he provided me with some photos of our boat and the crew. My sympathies are with his family and friends. koukouvagia
Sorry to hear that. I never met Alan but I shall miss his knowledgeable comments on the Seffle he had in Baildon and which I subsequently fitted in Owl.
